Mathu is from Mathur, like many other girls of her age, she used to fight with her mother often. Due to her behavior, she lost inner peace in her heart. She started to fight even for small things with her mother, which worried her mother to a great extent, she expected her daughter to help her in house hold works but her daughter argue with her mother and refused to the household chores, her mother searched for a solution to her daughter’s problem.
Madhu’s mother Selvi is an active member of Malligai TG, she came to know about YG and Selvi insisted that Madhu to attend the YG2 meetings.
Initially she participated in weekly group meetings without any interest, but as she got new friends of her age group she started to participate regularly. Gradually the stories and values in group meetings touched her heart, she leaned the importance of respecting parents and felt sorry for her behavior. She realized her mistake and said, “the sister thought me respecting parents is more important than anything else, and the stories I hear every week made me to change my attitude towards my mother, I promise that I won’t do that to my mother, now I felt happy in my heart, I apologized to my mother who is very happy”.
